With a prolific career spanning three decades,
Chris Hartunian works in many different mediums, including
sculpture, printing, ceramics, and book arts.
Her favorite medium is oil on linen. Hartunian's subjects are varied,
prioritizing on the eccentricities of the figure and the land.
She studied at UCLA, Laguna College of Art and Design, and
Otis College of Art and Design. Hartunian lives near the ocean
allowing nature, movement and the bright colors of California to
inspire her work.
Her art has been showcased in numerous exhibitions including
The Santa Monica Museum of Art, The Autry Museum, Otis
College of Art & Design, The John Wayne Airport.
and the Cornell Art Museum.
Hartunianʼs work resides in private collections internationally.
